A perfect hostess gift wrapped with the cake in it(you have to make the cake)! recipe included Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes Spray pan with cooking spray, sprinkle bottom of pan with sliced almonds. Beat well: 1 1/4 Cups sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract,2/3 cups milk. Add: 1 1/4 cups flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder Add: 1 stick melted butter Mix well with wire wisk Bake as above. Edges must be golden brown. Cool pan completely before removing (overnight if possible). Sprinkle with powdered sugar...enjoy! |
